The Tigers Trust is proud to improve the health and wellbeing of our local communities through activities which promote safe, healthy and happy lifestyles.

Across the past five weeks, the Tigers Trust team have delivered free sessions across the city for young people aged 8-16 as part of the Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF).

This provision runs alongside the charity’s Premier League Kicks activity and so far, the sessions have recorded 1,450 individual attendances.

Participants at the sessions have received free packed lunches which consists of a sandwich, a healthy snack and a bottle of water.

The Trust’s Social Inclusion Manager Kayleigh Jackson said: “The summer sessions provide important provision and activity for the young people of the city.

“They help with assisting a reduction of anti-social behaviour, while also increasing community cohesion and both physical and social activity.

“Hopefully, some of the young people we have engaged with will one day be supporting their local communities on the volunteering pathway with the Tigers Trust!”
