Participants from the Tigers Trust’s Premier League Inclusive sessions took part in a social action project to redevelop land outside the Tigers Trust Arena.
The Premier League Kicks Inclusive sessions are delivered for those individuals who have additional needs and requirements due to having a disability.
Young people from these sessions worked with Tigers Trust staff to increase the visual appeal of the exterior of the Tigers Trust Arena for future visitors.
Tasks included replacing the old soil with fresh topsoil and removing some of the old vegetation in preparation for the new plants.
The Trust’s Social Inclusion Manager Kayleigh Jackson said: “Social action can benefit the lives of people while also solving problems that are important in their local communities.
“The skills used within this activity will provide huge value for these young people who will soon be looking ahead to potential employment opportunities.”
The Trust would like to say a huge thank you to MKM who donated the topsoil, and to everyone who volunteered their time to get involved.
