The Tigers Trust are proud to be able to open opportunities for young people to make a difference within their local communities.

Through delivery of the Premier League Inspires programme, Tigers Trust staff have supported a group of secondary school students from Holderness Academy.

These students had previously won a challenge at the MKM Stadium which required them to launch a social action project around the theme of protecting the planet.

Since winning the challenge in January, the students have been assembling bird feeders and hedgehog houses from eco-friendly materials, such as cardboard boxes and plastic bottles.

Following the completion of these feeders and houses, the students created a plan around delivering these creations to the local community and this week has seen the students head to local care homes and nurseries to install their creations.

The Tigers Trust would like to say well done to the students for delivering such an important social action project that will make a lasting contribution.
