World Book Day 2023: Regan Slater visits Saint Nicholas Primary School

As part of the Trust’s Premier League Primary Stars Programme, Regan Slater visited Saint Nicholas Primary School to discuss with students about the theme of inspiration for World Book Day 2023.
World Book Day takes place on Thursday 2nd March and continues to encourage children and young people to read for pleasure, this could include reading a book or creating activity sheets with exciting illustrations.
The Premier League Primary Stars programme aims to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills and this includes the topic of inspiration.
Regan Slater recently attended an assembly at Saint Nicholas Primary School where he handed out certificates to the students for their amazing poster creations of the role models that inspire them the most.
Regan then answered several questions from the students that included what inspires himself the most as well as sharing details about his footballing journey so far.
The visit then concluded as Regan visited all the classes individually before having pictures with the students and staff which they thoroughly enjoyed.
