To celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day 2022, the Tigers Trust decided to hold a day dedicated towards spreading positivity.

The day started off at Oakwood Dog Rescue where members of our team surprised dogs with old footballs from the Tigers Trust Arena.
Oakwood Dog Rescue is a Hull-based organisation that was founded in 2009 to help dogs find their forever homes.
The Trust team then delivered toys to local charities Child Dynamix and Purple House which will now be distributed to young people across the city.

Participants from our Premier League Inspires programme at Malet Lambert School created cards and posters with supportive messages to be sent out to those across Hull and East Yorkshire suffering from loneliness and isolation.

Woodland Primary School held a non-uniform day on Wednesday and raised over £300 to go towards a new bike for our staff member Bradley Andrew.

Bradley has his bike stolen outside of the school whilst teaching the week before, so pupils and teachers came up with a heartwarming plan to lift his spirits.
We were so grateful that Hull City were able to support our Treat Day with generous donations and player messages of appreciation.

Midfielder George Honeyman surprised our CEO Catherine Bishop with a bouquet of flowers in her office on Thursday afternoon.

Greg Docherty sent a message to young fan Oakley who had recently donated his pocket money to support the Tigers Trust matchday.

Oakley will now lead the Tigers out for their game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 5th of March as a mascot.

Matt Ingram and Andy Cannon sent video messages to Premier League Kicks Inclusive participants Sophie and Kasper who volunteer regularly as Match Ball Assistants for the Club.

Brandon Fleming also got involved with the day’s activities with a thank you message to Tigers Together volunteer Alan Cross.
The Club also kindly donated kit and old programmes which will now be given out to participants on our various projects.

Thank you to everyone that supported our Tigers Trust Treat Day. We hope we succeeded in spreading kindness to children, young people and adults across Hull and East Yorkshire.

You can donate £3 to the Tigers Trust by texting ‘TT30YEARS’ to 70085, or by clicking the button below to donate online.
