Tigers Trust's corporate 5-a-side tournament

 

The Trust will be looking to raise funds to support their wellbeing fund in line with their 30-year celebrations for the 2021/22 season. 

 

For over 30 years, the Tigers Trust have improved the health and wellbeing of our local communities through football and other activities, promoting safe and happy lifestyles. 

 

Across the past 12 months, the Trust have been holding special events to mark their landmark year and are now ready to hold the next exciting event. 

 

On 30th January, 30 5-a-side teams from businesses and companies across the city and the surrounding areas will battle it out against each other. 

 

Every penny from the event will make a huge difference to people’s lives by enabling them to attend a coffee morning safely, if they have been isolated, or take part in group activities to improve their health and wellbeing. 

 

This event follows the success of Tigers Trust's ‘A Question of Sport’ evening in October which saw £3,018.90 raised through ticket sales and donations. 

 

Taking place at the Tigers Trust Arena, the 5-a-side tournament will run from 9:30am to 4:30pm with teams allowed to bring up to eight players. 

 

Tigers Trust’s Marketing and Communications Executive Gemma Hare said: “We’re excited to be kicking off 2022 with our Corporate 5 A Side tournament!” 

 

“It’s set to be a great event and all for a fantastic cause so, if you’re feeling a little sluggish after the festive period, dust off your boots and help us make a big difference! 

 

“All money raised will be put back into helping children, young people and adults within the local community of Hull and East Riding lead healthier and happier lives.”
