Hello guest
Your basket is empty
At the Tigers Trust, we take great pride in seeing the impact we can make to the health and wellbeing of those in our local community.

None of this would be possible, however, without our staff members who work tirelessly to make an impact every single day.

Ryan McGregor is one of those people.

Currently working on the Premier League Primary Stars programme, Ryan has been involved with the Trust for over 12 years now after first joining as an apprentice.

Having committed over a decade of service to ourselves, Ryan has seen various success stories, but there’s one period in particular that stands out to him.

“There have been lots of special moments here,” he said. “The big moment for me, though, was getting the opportunity to work in Sierra Leone in collaboration with the Premier League. We went across there and upskilled enthusiastic coaches. That was one of the biggest moments of both my career and my life so far.”

Despite working predominantly in primary schools, Ryan has worked across a number of areas such as our half-term Football Centres.
He even worked as a Team Leader as part of our recent NCS programme, engaging with 16-17-year-olds through several different activities.

No matter the location or role, though, he is proud to know that he’s making a difference in the work that he does.

“The most rewarding thing about working for the Trust is knowing that we’ve made a massive impact in the community by being a role model to others,” Ryan added. “Whether that’s on a day-to-day basis in the community, whether it’s in a primary school setting, whether that be a soccer school setting or any other project that we work on.”

We are incredibly proud to call Ryan one of our own for the great work that he has put on across the years, and he is also grateful for how the Trust has benefitted his life.

“To me, the Tigers Trust turning 30 means a big deal,” he admitted. “I’ve worked here 12 years now and it has provided me with an opportunity to build my career in sport and leisure which is something I have wanted to do since I was a little boy. Through the years, I’ve seen lots of different things and we’ve just grown bigger and bigger, and it’s great to see that we’re growing every single day.”

Thank you, Ryan.
