The Tigers Trust stands firmly behind the Football v Homophobia Month of Action, an initiative that resonates deeply with commitment to celebrating inclusivity and diversity within the football community.

February marks a dedicated time to challenge prejudice based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression across all levels of the sport.
In today's landscape, there's unprecedented visibility and representation of the LGBTIQ+ community in football, signaling a crucial moment to confront discrimination head-on.

Football v Homophobia, now in its 15th annual Month of Action, sends a clear message: with increased visibility comes an enhanced responsibility to combat discrimination.

Across the UK, various organisations and individuals, including the Tigers Trust, have rallied behind this important cause. As part of our Premier League Primary Stars Programme, Year 4 students from Westfield Primary School have been showcasing their creativity by crafting vibrant rainbow-coloured football designs, inspired by the groundbreaking introduction of the Rainbow Match Ball by EFL and Puma.

The Rainbow Match Ball, utilised by all 72 EFL Clubs across Sky Bet Championship, League One, and League Two matches from February 16th to 24th, serves as a powerful symbol of unity and acceptance.

The incredible desgins created by our Premier League Primary Stars students, coupled with the introduction of the Rainbow Match Ball, represent a spectrum of colours highighting the importance of inclusivity and diversity.

This initiative symbolises the ethos that football is a sport for all, symbolising that football is for everyone and representing the League’s active support for inclusion throughout the game.
