The Tigers Trust proudly hosted the Show Racism the Red Card event at the Tigers Trust Arena today, an occasion met with great enthusiasm by all attending.

We were thrilled to welcome over 120 students from 3 of our Premier League Primary Stars Partnered Schools, providing them with a day filled with enriching learning experiences.

Show Racism the Red Card, an anti-racism educational charity, is dedicated to combating racism by empowering role models within communities, organisations, and sports. Leveraging the influence of football and its players, they strive to dismantle racism in society.

During today's event, students from Marfleet Primary School, Ings Primary School, and Molescroft Primary School actively participated in a series of educational workshops. These workshops shed light on pressing issues such as hate crime and discrimination, crucial for fostering an equitable and harmonious society.

In addition to these workshops, students had the unique opportunity to explore exclusive areas of the MKM Stadium, including changing rooms, tunnel areas, and dugouts.

The highlight of the day was a captivating Question and Answer session featuring Hull City scholars Alfie Perry and Aidan Durkan, along with former Chelsea defender and Dutch international Ken Monkou. They shared insights on confronting racial abuse and the importance of reporting such incidents.

Upon departure, students were presented with a goody bag, while those who asked the top three best questions earned their very own T-shirt to take away from the session!

Let us all find the courage to speak out against racial abuse and discrimination. Together, we can Show Racism The Red Card

We send a huge thanks to Show Racism the Red Card for their invaluable presentation to our Primary School Students, and to our special guests for their engaging participation in the Question and Answer Session.
