Through delivery of the Premier League Inspires programme, the Tigers Trust delivered a day of inspiration at Bishop Burton College today

The Premier League Inspires programme engages with students that typically face barriers to them achieving their full potential, mainly low confidence and self-esteem, attendance, or social skills.

97 young people from 8 of the Trust’s partnered schools attended the event and engaged with activities that open up new potential hobbies, career interests or provide chances to learn life skills and awareness.

These activities included sessions delivered by Humberside Fire and Rescue, Hyett Education (STEM Workshop) and Bishop Burton staff.

Speaking about the event, the Trust’s Premier League Inspires Lead Ellis Oliver said: “These days are aimed at putting into practice a range of skills developed in sessions with staff over a period of weeks in school by interacting with guests from external organisations.

“Thank you to Bishop Burton College for hosting the event, and well done to everyone in attendance for making it such a memorable day.”
