The Tigers Trust were thrilled to deliver an Inspiration Day for our Premier League Inspires students at Bishop Burton College yesterday.
As an integral component of the Premier League Inspires initiative, the Tigers Trust provided a day filled with activities at Bishop Burton College yesterday.
The Premier League Inspires programme is designed to connect with students who often encounter obstacles hindering their journey to realising their full potential, such as low confidence and self-esteem, attendance issues, or social skills deficits.
We were thrilled to extend invitations to eight of our partnered secondary schools, all joining us for a day brimming with diverse activities. This event provided an opportunity for individuals to explore potential future hobbies and expand their knowledge.
These activities encompassed workshops facilitated by Prison Me No Way! , offering a glimpse into prison life, including an exploration of a prison cell's interior. Additionally, Bishop Burton College staff graciously provided a campus tour, while motivational speaker Adam Corbally delivered an inspirational presentation including the student’s getting their hands on some lucky prizes!
We were also delighted to be joined by Mason Johnson and Sam Jackson from the Hull City Academy. They fully participated in our activities, including a fascinating Q&A session and a quiz in the style of 'A Question Of Sport'. The Question and Answer session gave students the chance to learn more about the players' lives and stories.
We extend our gratitude to Bishop Burton College staff for hosting the event and to all participants for contributing to a fantastic day.
