Hello guest
Your basket is empty
Our Street Soccer Academy participants embarked on an unforgettable journey as they descended upon the iconic London Stadium on Sunday November 19th, looking for glory in the Football for Good Day, Champions Trophy.

The Street Soccer Academy is not merely a programme, it's a commitment to personal growth - a transformative 10-week course intertwining football coaching, dedicated mentoring, fostering a positive mindset, and engaging employability workshops. Catering to spirited 18 to 30-year-olds currently outside the realms of education, employment, or training, this initiative stands as a beacon of empowerment.

In the company of nine other commendable Community and Charitable Organisations (CCOs), including West Ham United Foundation, Chelsea FC Foundation, Salford City’s 92 Foundation, Sheffield United Community Foundation, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, Everton In The Community, Sunderland FC Foundation Of Light, Leicester City In The Community, and Liverpool’s LFC Foundation, our participants descended upon the capital with high spirits.

The afternoon unfolded with our Street Soccer Academy team energetically participating in a five-a-side tournament group alongside Everton, Brentford, Sheffield United, and Sunderland. Despite the exceptional dedication and hard work showcased by our lads, they unfortunately did not advance to the next stage. Ultimately, it was Chelsea FC Foundation emerging victorious over Salford City’s 92 Foundation in the final beneath the London Stadium lights.

Beyond the results on the pitch, an EA FC 24 tournament unfolded in a dedicated area of the stadium. We proudly witnessed Street Soccer Academy participants Sam reaching the quarter finals and Declan securing a spot in the semi finals - a commendable achievement for both. While the scoreboard may not have favoured our team, their resilience and accomplishments in the EA FC 24 tournament are reasons for pride.

To each and every participant on the programme, we hope that this experience has been one that lives long in the memory, and your collective efforts have undeniably filled everyone with immense pride, including the Tigers Trust!
