Lou Dealtry-Todd’s positive engagement with the Tigers Trust

 

This year alone, the charity has engaged with 405 girls through its delivery of the Premier League Kicks programme. 

 

Lou Dealtry-Todd, 16, is taking full advantage of these opportunities and has now been involved with the organisation across multiple years. 

 

Starting as a participant at the Trust’s football camps, Lou has always had a passion for the sport. 

 

She said: “I love football because it keeps me fit and healthy, and it’s helped me make lots of friends! 

 

“When I am on a football pitch playing football, I don't think about anything else in the world.” 

 

In the summer of 2021, Lou enjoyed a period of volunteering on the football camps she once attended. 

 

Her welcoming and infectious personality has helped her build a strong rapport with staff members from the Tigers Trust, which has led to access to other opportunities. 

 

This positive reputation meant that Lou was put forward to be a Match Ball Assistant for Hull City during the 2021/22 campaign. 

 

Speaking about her Match Ball Assistant duties, Lou said: “I absolutely loved being a Match Ball Assistant, watching the games and helping both Hull City and the Tigers Trust.” 

 

This year will see Lou start college to undergo a Sport Studies course, and she hopes that in a few years she can inspire other females to get involved with football.
