The Tigers Trust's Tigers Pathways is a free six-week programme if you are aged 18 and above or aren't currently in education, employment, or training.
Tigers Pathways is aimed at improving your skills and preparing you for employment, education, or training with extensive one to one support, effective CV building and group work that has a focus on confidence building and teamwork.
Libbi Hinson, 19, started the Tigers Pathways programme in November 2022 hoping to find part time employment and needing support around finding suitable work for her skill set.
Tigers Trust staff immediately recognised that Libbi's attitude and determination towards finding work was faultless.
During the programme a work opportunity was found for Libbi when a vacancy came up at Cooplands.
Libbi jumped at this opportunity and worked hard with Amy and Paul to prepare for the interview and was successful in gaining employment.
Libbi made an excellent impression and was asked to work at multiple Cooplands across the City which is a credit to her fast learning and skill set.
Although happy that she had gained employment, Libbi's future passion was to work within the sports sector as this is what she had focused on during college, so she stayed on the Tigers Pathways programme to gain more knowledge and search for more permanent opportunities in the sports sector whilst she was working and financially independent.
From this, Libbi was successful in finding employment as a Premier League Kicks Casual Delivery Officer with the Tigers Trust.
Libbi felt that this role was the perfect next step for her career and during the application process, Tigers Trust staff helped Libbi with adapting her CV and Cover Letter so that it was more tailored and relevant to the job position.
