Hello guest

We were delighted to have the presence of Hull City's Jason Lokilo and Liam Delap at our Premier League Kicks Tournament held at the Tigers Trust Arena.

The Premier League Kicks programme serves as a vital catalyst in engaging with numerous local young individuals, inspiring them to not only embrace the beautiful game of football but also participate in various positive activities that foster safer and more respectful communities.

This event was an integral part of the Healthy Holidays summer schedule, generously funded by the Department for Education. It offers invaluable support to children between the ages of 4 and 16, particularly those receiving pupil premium free school meals, by granting them access to enriching activities and meals throughout the summer break.

The tournament, hosted with enthusiasm at our arena, witnessed the children eagerly participate in a spirited competition. The matches provided exceptional goals and an abundance of remarkable teamwork that rewarded with us seeing some excellent pieces of play.

During the match intervals, our young participants had the opportunity to interact with Hull City's Jason Lokilo and Liam Delap in our vibrant Youth Room. Here, the atmosphere was charged with excitement as they engaged in spirited gaming and intense table tennis battles, providing smiles and laughter amongst all who were present.

As the tournament reached its thrilling conclusion, Jason and Liam took centre stage to present medals and a trophy to the victorious team. The players then patiently posed for photographs and distributed autographs, much to the sheer delight of all the children in attendance.

We would like to thank Hull City for facilitating this visit and for the players engaging with the young people.
