Hello guest
Your basket is empty
Jake Coats first engaged with the Tigers Trust in 2013 and has since broken down incredible barriers to secure full-time employment.

Having started as a participant at the Trust’s Premier League Kicks sessions, Jake has developed into a positive role model for all.

It hasn’t always been an easy ride for the 23-year-old, though.

Jake admits his battle with anxiety always formed a barrier in his search for work, and the Tigers Trust have aimed to support this across its various employability and wellbeing programmes.

Jake has been a regular attender of the Tigers Together sessions for those individuals who are looking to improve their mental wellbeing through football.

He also signed up to the Tigers Pathways programme to gain the relevant and appropriate support to boost his chances of employment.

This support included preparing Jake’s CV and ensuring he felt both confident and comfortable heading into interviews.

In total, Jake has engaged with nearly 900 hours of Tigers Trust activity across the past nine years.

Thanks to his hard work and determination, Jake has now been successful in finding a full-time role.

Everyone at the Tigers Trust would like to congratulate Jake for his successful and inspirational journey to employment.
