Keane Parsons has been involved with the Tigers Trust for over 10 years, both as a participant and now as a full-time member of staff.

His pathway through the organisation serves as inspiration for any young person looking for a career in sport and education.

Having first attended the Premier League Kicks sessions as a participant when he was 14, Keane regularly attended with his friends on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

His reliability and positive attitude led to the chance of volunteering with the Trust, an opportunity he grasped with both hands.

Keane said his experience as a volunteer has provided him with skills for life.

He said: "This includes both my leadership and communication abilities, which were improved from the experience of working within a team.”

Now working full-time as a Social Inclusion Delivery Officer, Keane is able to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of both young people and adults across the city, something of which he is incredibly proud.

He said: "Being able to attend sessions and seeing the smiles on people’s faces makes me proud to be part of a fantastic team and organisation.

"If it wasn’t for the Trust, I don’t know where or what I would currently be doing now!”
