As part of EFL Week of Action, students from the Tigers Trust's University of South Wales degree courses got the chance to visit the Hull City Training Ground to gain valuable experience to contribute to their learning.

In conjunction with the EFL Trust and the University of South Wales, the Tigers Trust provides the opportunity to undertake a degree in either FD/BSc Sports Coaching and Development, Community Football Coaching and Development or Sports Business and Management.

The visit started with a tour of the Training Ground facilities, getting behind the scenes access to areas such as the coaches office, the canteen and the treatment room.

Following the tour, students oversaw a first-team training session whilst taking notes that they can take into their own coaching methods going forwards.

The visit then concluded with a question and answer session with Hull City Head Coach Liam Rosenior and First Team Coach Andy Dawson.

The students generated discussions from this around different coaching methods and how to manage different age groups.

Thank you to Hull City for facilitating this visit, and thank you to Liam and Andy for taking time out of their day to speak to the students.
