The Tigers Trust would like to congratulate Zak Hardwick who has signed for the Hull City Academy.

Zak, 11, had recently impressed at a Tigers Trust Skill Centre and was subsequently invited for a trial from which he has now signed for the Academy.

Having impressed in the EFL Kids Cup with Kirk Ella St Andrew's Community Primary School, Zak was invited to the Skill Centre in which he worked with UEFA qualified coaches.

Zak was then invited into the Hull City Academy for a six-week trial period after impressing the coaches with his technical ability, work rate and attitude.

Alex Ellerington, Football Coordinator, said: "I would like to congratulate Zak on his massive achievement signing a contract at Hull City Academy!

"He should be very proud of himself and I am sure all of his family and friends are as well.

"During his time at the skill centre Zak got to work with our UEFA qualified coaches and impressed us consistently with his technical ability, work rate and attitude. This saw him get invited into Hull City Academy for a 6 week trial period where he was successful in gaining a place in the academy."

We would now like to Zak all the best with his football career and we are both proud and delighted that he has progressed from the Tigers Trust Skill Centre.

We hope that he can be the first of many.
