We are seeking Casual Event Staff who will be the first point of contact for our customers and community, representing our values and ensuring every visitor receives an excellent experience.
This role plays a vital part in supporting our events by providing friendly, professional service in our Reception and Bar areas, helping to create memorable experiences while promoting our commitment to community engagement, safety, and high-quality customer service.
Key accountabilities of the role:
Reception Duties
Welcoming guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Acting as the first point of contact and representing the arena positively.
Answering basic enquiries and providing information about events and facilities.
Booking sessions, checking tickets, passes, or guest lists where required.
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area
Bar Duties
Serving drinks efficiently, responsibly, and with excellent customer service.
Handling cash and card payments accurately.
Ensuring compliance with age-restricted sales and licensing laws.
Keeping the bar area clean, stocked, and organised.
Facilities, Equipment & Court Duties
Preparing facilities for sessions and events, including setting up and putting away equipment.
Getting sports and activity equipment out before sessions and returning it safely after use.
Checking courts and activity areas before and after each session to ensure they are safe, clean, and suitable for use.
Reporting any damage, hazards, or maintenance issues to Arena Manager promptly.
Cleaning sports equipment after use and ensuring it is stored correctly.
Cleaning and maintaining changing rooms, including regular checks during busy periods.
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all assigned areas.
General Duties
Delivering a consistently high standard of customer experience.
Supporting community activities, events, and match days as required.
Working closely with Arena Managers, colleagues, volunteers, and security teams.
Following health & safety, safeguarding, and hygiene procedures at all times.
Supporting a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.
Assisting colleagues during busy periods and peak event times.
Adhering to health & safety, safeguarding, and venue policies.
Supporting community events and activities as required.
Other Duties
Attend staff training as required to maintain and develop skills, knowledge and awareness.
To ensure that all relevant Tigers Trust policies, procedures and working practices are fully always adhered to, including safeguarding policy and Health and Safety.
