Today, we were thrilled to welcome 10 secondary schools to the Tigers Trust Arena for a day of exciting activities as part of our Premier League Inspires programme.
The Premier League Inspires programme is dedicated to empowering students who face challenges that may hinder their ability to reach their full potential—whether it's low confidence, self-esteem issues, difficulties with attendance, or struggles with social skills.
Throughout the day, over 130 students from Driffield, Holderness Academy, Hessle High School, Howden, Malet Lambert School, Marvell, Sirius West, The Market Weighton School, Trinity House Academy and Winifred Holtby enthusiastically took part in a range of engaging activities designed to spark new interests, uncover hidden talents, and inspire personal growth.
The event featured workshops led by Adam Corbally, a motivational speaker and former contestant on The Apprentice. Students also had the opportunity to learn how to programme drones, thanks to Hyett Education staff, explored the MKM Stadium with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, and participate in team-building games organised by our apprentices.
We were also delighted to welcome Hull City scholars Stan Hewitt and Alfie Maskell, who explored the activities, engaged with students, and took part in a Q&A session—offering valuable insights into the life of a footballer.
A huge thank you to all the external organisations that contributed to making this a fantastic day for the students.
