Tigers Trust to host Open Evening for new Bishop Burton Level 1 BTEC Course

 

In collaboration with Bishop Burton College, the Tigers Trust is launching a dynamic new programme designed to help young people pursue careers in the sports industry. This Level 1 qualification offers insights into key sports topics while also enhancing students' English and Maths skills. Through a dedicated sports pathway, participants will explore various sports concepts, including fitness testing, playing sports, maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, and developing employability skills. The course will be delivered over three days each week: two days at the Tigers Trust Arena and one day at the Bishop Burton campus near Beverley. 

 

The intention is to provide a practical course that supports young people who have struggled with academic subjects at school, whilst allowing them to develop their passion and interest in sport, providing them with a route into a successful career. 

 

Enrolees will benefit from a free Hull City Season Pass, a free Hull City training kit, and complimentary transport to Bishop Burton as a incentive to signing up to the course. 

 

Join us for the Open Evening on Tuesday, August 6th, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at the Tigers Trust Arena. Our staff will be on hand to answer your questions, and you’ll have the chance to participate in a football match, win exciting Hull City prizes, and enjoy free pizza.
