Hull City’s Greg Docherty and Josh Magennis attended the Tigers Trust Arena this afternoon as part of a Show Racism the Red Card event.

Show Racism the Red Card is the UK’s largest anti-racism educational charity.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, the charity uses the high-profile status of football and football players to help tackle racism in society.
The charity works with schools, football clubs, trade unions and companies to deliver unique anti-racism education to young people and adults.

Today's event saw Year 5 and Year 6 pupils from Beverley Minster Primary School, Broadacre Primary School and Marfleet Primary School participate in a range of activities.

They took part in an educational workshop around racism in the morning, and also had the opportunity to take a tour around the MKM Stadium.

The afternoon saw them quiz Magennis and Docherty on their footballing careers so far, and the pair also shared their own personal experiences of racism.

The panel also included the High Sheriff of the East Riding of Yorkshire who we were privileged to able to welcome down to the Tigers Trust Arena.
