We were delighted to welcome a group of students from Neasden Primary School to the Tigers Trust Arena yesterday for a fun-filled day of activities.
As part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme - which works closely with primary schools across Hull and the East Riding to promote not just physical activity, but also social skills and emotional wellbeing—we offer schools the exciting opportunity to take part in a special "away day" experience at the Tigers Trust Arena, thanks to our ongoing partnership initiative.
We were delighted to welcome seven students from Neasden Primary School, each chosen for their outstanding dedication and positive contribution to their school council. These students have recently been involved in identifying key areas of improvement within their school environment and have come up with thoughtful and constructive ideas to help make their school a better place for everyone.
The day kicked off with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the MKM Stadium, giving the pupils a chance to explore areas not usually seen by the public. From stepping into the home team’s dressing room to standing pitchside, visiting the hospitality suites, and peeking into the media suite, the tour offered a real insider’s look at the life of a football club. The group was full of excitement and made sure to capture lots of memorable moments with photos along the way.
After the stadium visit, the students headed back to the Tigers Trust Arena, where they jumped into a variety of fun and interactive activities. These included a thoughtful “Would You Rather” game that helped develop communication and decision-making skills, followed by a series of energetic physical challenges, including sprinting races, gymnastics exercises, and, of course, a lively football session that brought plenty of teamwork.
It was such an enjoyable and memorable experience for the students. It was a real pleasure to host them and celebrate the incredible work they’re doing within their school.
