Hello guest

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from seven of our partnered Premier League Inspires secondary schools to the Tigers Trust Arena for an Inspiration Day, part of our ongoing Secondary Schools partnership.

The Premier League Inspires programme is dedicated to empowering students who face challenges that may hinder their ability to reach their full potential—challenges like low confidence, self-esteem issues, difficulties with attendance, or struggles with social skills.

Throughout the day, students eagerly participated in a variety of engaging activities designed to spark new interests, uncover hidden talents, and inspire personal growth.

Highlights included dynamic workshops from Humberside Fire and Rescue, providing an exciting glimpse into the life of a firefighter, as well as a creative acting session led by Hull Truck Theatre. Additionally, Hyett Education offered a drone programming workshop. Our staff also hosted an interactive team-building activity, where students worked together to construct a model rollercoaster using scrap materials."

We were also delighted to welcome Hull City scholars Ed Devine and Lucas Dawson, who connected with students during a lively and insightful Q&A session before joining in on some of the day’s activities.

A huge thank-you to all the external organisations that contributed their time and expertise, making the day both impactful and memorable for the students.
