The Tigers Trust was thrilled to host its second annual Golf Day on Friday at the stunning Cottingham Parks Golf Club, enjoying perfect weather throughout the event.
We welcomed 15 teams of four players, including representatives from various businesses, who took part in a shotgun-style tournament beginning at 1pm. All teams teed off simultaneously from different holes, setting the stage for a fun-filled day full of high spirits and laughter. Along the course, players enjoyed refreshments provided by our wonderful staff, who ensured everyone stayed hydrated and energised.
After over four hours of fantastic golf by our teams in attendence, participants returned to the clubhouse to enjoy a delicious BBQ-style meal and drinks. This was followed by a special Q&A session with Hull City legend Nick Barmby, hosted by the popular Alex Burgess. Barmby shared memorable stories from his time with Hull City and spoke about how much he enjoyed taking part in the day.
The celebrations continued with a raffle and silent auction featuring an array of exciting prizes, including a mascot experience, hospitality packages, signed football, signed Ivor Pandur shirts and gloves, and even some lighthearted prizes for the lowest-scoring team!
