Posted on 13th May 2022 at 09:17
On Tuesday 19th of July, two members of the Tigers Trust team will aim to complete an ultramarathon to conclude the organisations fundraising efforts for its 30th anniversary year.
The challenge will see Alex Lisney (Primary Stars Lead) and Richard Dexter (Head of Programmes) attempt to run 30 miles across the Hull and East Yorkshire region.
These are the schools that they will pass:
Starting at the Tigers Trust Arena at 8:30am, Alex and Richard will pass ten of the Trust’s partnered Premier League Primary Star schools along the way.
The schools that they will pass will be:
Christopher Pickering – West Hull
Bacon Garth – Cottingham
Westfield - Cottingham
Beverley Minster - Beverley
Beverley St Nicholas – Beverley
Broadacre – Kingswood
Dorchester – East Hull
Spring Cottage – East Hull
Neasden – East Hull
St Nicholas – Cottingham Road Hull
We are encouraging schools to get involved on the day by wearing black and amber, to both support the duo and to further increase fundraising.
Donations raised from this challenge will go towards the charity’s Health and Wellbeing Fund which will help to support more children, young people and adults to engage in a range of Trust activity.
In the 2020/21 season alone, we helped support 28,516 people across Hull and East Yorkshire through our various programmes.
