The Tigers Trust deliver day of fascinating activities at Bishop Burton College

 

As a core element of the Premier League Inspires programme, the event brought together students from six of our partner secondary schools, offering a day filled with hands-on, motivational activities aimed at unlocking potential and building confidence. The initiative is tailored to support young people who may face challenges such as low self-esteem, poor attendance, or difficulties with social interaction. 

 

We were proud to welcome 80 students who embraced the opportunity to explore new interests, develop key life skills, and gain insights into future educational and career pathways. 

 

A highlight of the day was a powerful workshop led by inspirational marathon runner Mike Humphreys, who shared his incredible journey of completing 30 marathons in 30 days across 30 different countries. Alongside this, students participated in a variety of engaging activities—from indoor team-building exercises and outdoor sports like rounders, to an interactive campus tour showcasing the unique opportunities available at Bishop Burton College.
