Today marks an exciting milestone with the Street Soccer Academy National Cup, where young adults from our Street Soccer Academy programme will proudly represent the Tigers Trust and Hull City at Leicester City’s Training Ground!

Our Street Soccer Academy programme stands as a testament to our commitment to personal development, offering a transformative 10-week course that revolves around football coaching, dedicated mentoring support, fostering a positive mindset, and engaging employability workshops. The spirited 18 to 30-year-olds participating in this event include those who are presently not in education, employment, or training.

With eighteen diverse teams divided into groups of four, each representing their CCOs and clubs, the Street Soccer Academy National Cup will feature a spirited five-a-side tournament. Participants will have the chance to showcase the skills they've formed during the course, including enhanced confidence, practical abilities, and the camaraderie they've built with their peers.

Our talented participants, representing Hull City and the Tigers Trust, will compete against Crystal Palace Team A, Bournemouth, Salford City, Everton Team A, and Chelsea. Each team is eager to advance from the group stages with hopes of clinching the coveted trophy and becoming national champions.

West Ham United Foundation, the reigning champions from last year’s event at West Ham’s London Stadium, sets a high benchmark. The anticipation is high to see which team will emerge victorious this year, adding to the legacy of the Street Soccer Academy.

We extend our heartfelt good luck to everyone taking part. The dedication and spirit of our group makes the Tigers Trust and Hull City incredibly proud!
