Street Soccer Academy group to take part in Football for Good Day, Champions trophy

A group of Street Soccer Academy participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at the illustrious London Stadium on Friday 22nd November.
Among the 20 teams hailing from various corners of the country, they will fervently vie for the coveted Football for Good Day, Champions trophy, a competition staged in the iconic London Stadium, the home of West Ham United.
Our Street Soccer Academy stands as a testament to our commitment to personal development, offering a transformative 10-week course that revolves around football coaching, dedicated mentoring support, fostering a positive mindset, and engaging employability workshops. The spirited 18 to 30-year-olds participating in this event include those who are presently not in education, employment, or training, this year our participants are those from our Active Through Football programme.
Beyond the competitive of the five-a-side tournament for the Football for Good Day, Champions trophy, scheduled for Friday 22nd November, where teams from Street Soccer Academies at clubs up and down the country will battle it out for their chance to play in the Champion’s Trophy final on the London Stadium pitch.
During The football for good day tournament, our Street Soccer Academy group will be in Group A and will face Chelsea, Coventry City, West Ham Utd A & Liverpool with teams from other respective CCO’s.
Our group can’t wait to head down to the capital and will make us all proud!
