To celebrate Hull City’s 120th anniversary celebrations, we were thrilled to join forces with our community partners to honour the rich history and heritage of the city of Hull.

KCOM, also marking their own 120th anniversary, played a key role in the lead-up to the event by sourcing and donating an iconic K6 Kiosk to the Tigers Trust Arena. A special thanks goes to Louise Babych at KCOM for making this possible and Hird for supporting with transportation. This kiosk will play a vital role in supporting our ‘Forever Tigers’ heritage and memorabilia project, backed by The Premier League Charitable Fund Fans Fund.

We warmly invite community members of all ages to visit and explore the archives housed within this iconic kiosk, made possible through a generous donation from Biffa, where they can digitally relive Hull City’s past.

Before the Cardiff match, we were joined by Rob from the Senior Tigers, who dedicated countless hours to assembling the collection, and Hull City legend John Hawley, whose involvement has been instrumental in making this project a reality.

Speaking about the unveiling of the K6 kiosk, our CEO Catherine Bishop said: “On the back of Covid, we did so much work in the community around loneliness and people coming together is really important, that social isolation, tackling that and working with all ages, through Hull City and their 120th Year anniversary, it’s a great way to bring people together and help them be active in what we are doing and what other people are doing.”

“Something like this, give us that opportunity to go that step further and really start bringing people together to talk about their memories.”
