Through our Forever Tiger memorabilia project, supported by the Premier League Fans Fund, we aim to celebrate the rich history of Hull City Football Club by showcasing iconic moments from its past. 
 
We kindly invite the public to contribute by sharing any old photographs or digital assets related to the following events. Your contributions will help us expand our ever-growing library and preserve these treasured memories: 
 
Here’s the list of events we’re looking to develop further content for: 
 
28th June 1904 - Hull City AFC incorporated as a professional club. 
1st September 1904 - First game as professional club at the Boulevard against Notts County. 
2nd September 1905 - First Football League game against Barnsley. 
19th March 1906 - Gordon Wright plays for England. Only Hull City player to gain an England cap. 
19th February 1921 - Burnley unbeaten in 26 games lose to Hull City 3-0. 
22nd March 1930 - First appearance in FA Cup Semi Final. Draw 2-2 with Arsenal. Lost replay 1-0. 
1932-33 - Promoted to Division 2. 
14th January 1939 - Hull City 11 Carlisle 1, Highest score in FL. 
1939-45 - Anlaby Road ground bombed and not fit to be used. 
December 1945 - Harold Needler forms new club and builds Boothferry Park. 
March 1948 - Raich Carter Joins club. 
26th February 1949 - Highest attendance at Boothferry Park, 55,019 watch 6th round FA Cup tie v Manchester Utd. 
1948-49 - City win 3rd Division Title. 
19th January 1953 - First game at Boothferry Park under floodlights. City lost 4-0 to Dundee Utd with 31,702 in attendance 
1965-66 - City win Division 3 title, reach 6th round in FA Cup and win Giant Killers Cup. 
5th August 1970 - City lose first penalty shootout in the world 4-3 to Manchester Utd in Watney Cup Semi Final. 
21st February 1973 - City enter Anglo Italian Cup, win first game 2-1 against Lazio. 
25th February 1982 - First Football league Club to be placed in Receivership. Rescued by Don Robinson
