Sports Coaching and Development/Community Football Coaching and Development degree. 

Tigers Trust, in conjunction with the EFL Trust and the University of South Wales, is providing an opportunity for you to undertake a degree in FD/BSc Sports Coaching and Development or Community Football Coaching and Development. 
Both courses are delivered and accessed by the University of South Wales where you will graduate with other courses provided by the university.

Applications for this course are now directly through UCAS. When selecting institution and course, search for 'University of South Wales' followed by the course name of the pathway you wish to study.

What and how will you study? 

During you time on the course you will study modules including: 
Introduction to Sports Development 
Sport Placement 
Physical Education and School Sport 
The course is delivered through belnded learning. This approach allows students to remain residing in Hull or the local area whilst obtaining the specialist learning from lecturers at the University itself through video facilitation. Discussions and practical application are facilitated by the club mentor. 
The degree will provide you with the skills to work in roles such as: 
Community Manager 
Social Inclusion Officer 
Sports Development Officer 
Sport Journalism  
Sports Marketing 
And more 


If you sign up to the course, you will be enrolled as a student at the University of South Wales and have online access to the necessary learning materials to complete your degree. 
Additionally, you will spend a minimum of seven days per year at the University of South Wales High Performance Centre – the USW Sport Park and receive full accommodation during these teaching blocks. 
Weekly engagement with the course will take place at the Tigers Trust Arena over an average of 2 days per week.
