Since Summer 2020, our team have been supporting members of the community by tackling loneliness throughout the pandemic with planned activities and support. In this time our team have delivered 14,739 hours of contact to 883 participants

Thanks to initial funding from the EFL Trust, the Department of Digital Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) and now additional funding from Yorkshire Builders Federation we are able to offer support to tackle loneliness through 2021 in Hull and East Riding.

A representative from Yorkshire Building Federation commented:

The Board of the Yorkshire Building Federation firmly believe in ending mental health discrimination.  We are aware that during the current pandemic, checking in on someone… family, friends, work colleagues and neighbours, whilst socially distancing and maintaining lockdown rules has been difficult.

Therefore, supporting the Tigers Trust, who have managed to engage with 883 people since launching their Loneliness and Mental Health programme in the summer of 2020, has underpinned our ethos of supporting members of the community who are at risk of isolation at this challenging time.

We have been receiving regular positive feedback, one participant commented:

"Through the kind work you people do, we haven't been on our own through this lockdown"
