Hello guest
Your basket is empty
This week marks #NationalApprenticeshipWeek... we took the opportunity to ask our team of apprentices some questions for a short Q & A. Today is the turn of our apprentice, Georgia!

First up, tell us a little bit about you

Hi my name is Georgia and I’m a second year apprentice at the Trust. I have played football since I was 9 years old and have such a passion for all sports. I coach a football team outside of the trust as it’s my passion.

What do you love about sports coaching?

My favourite thing about sports coaching is being able to teach sports that you are passionate about. Seeing the smiles on the pupils faces when they love or enjoy a session you deliver, makes you feel proud and accomplished!

What’s your dream role in the future?

My dream role is to become a full time senior coach within the Trust and hopefully make my way up to the Project Manager in time.

What has your highlight of your apprenticeship been?

My favourite highlight of working with the Trust over the past year and a half would have to be meeting all the amazing people in the Trust and getting to become good friends with the other apprentices. Football camps are pretty fun too!

Any advice for young people that are considering an apprenticeship?

My advice for anyone looking for an apprenticeship is to find one in a career they are passionate about and enjoy as it makes going to work that much better.

Across 2021, we're looking forward to being able to offer a variety of positions to young people as part of the Kickstart Scheme. You can apply for these through the local job centre. Contact us more information on our Kickstart scheme.

Future apprenticeship opportunities will always be posted on our social media platforms and our Careers and Opportunities website page.
