Sean Royce Sean Royce is the managing director of KCOM’s Hull and East Yorkshire business. He joined KCOM in 1989 and has been at the centre of many of the company’s milestones including the launch of the world’s first commercial deployment of interactive TV and Video On Demand over broadband and the first all-you-can-eat internet packages in the UK. He was responsible for the company starting and completing its full fibre network, which now reaches more than 200,000 properties across Hull and East Yorkshire and is the UK standard bearer for world-class full fibre broadband. Sean has worked with the football club, since its move from Boothferry Park in 2002, as main sponsor of the KCOM Stadium. He has been on the board of trustees since 2010 and became chairman in 2018. He is a keen sportsman having played for many local clubs including North Ferriby Utd and is an ex-captain of Hull Cricket Club. Sean is actively involved in the local business community, is a director of the Centre for Digital Innovation (C4DI) and a governor at Hull’s Ron Dearing UTC. Sean is passionate about raising educational standards, aspirations and life chances for youngsters through sport.
