What is the Enterprise Academy Certificate in Business and Enterprise?
It’s a flexible, exam-free qualification taking an engaging and practical approach to assessment, designed to introduce learners to business and entrepreneurship.
How?
Learners investigate various aspects of a business by using the football club as a case study. They produce evidence of their learning by completing a workbook or worksheets. Lessons are delivered by staff from the football club. Typically, the qualification is delivered over a ten-week period (i.e. a school term), in school, with one unit being delivered each week.
Who is it appropriate for?
Primarily Year 9 learners who want to find out more about employment in a business environment by learning essential skills, working individually and in a team. The qualification allows learners to gain recognition for what they have achieved even if they do not finish the full qualification (comprising 10 units). If learners are unable to complete the full qualification, they will receive a certificate listing the unit (or units) they have achieved.
