A new initiative delivered in partnership with Yorkshire County Cricket Club, hence the name: Tykers

The French language modules were developed with Hull City Council and Routes into Languages.

The primary modules are suitable for pupils in Key Stage 2. A colourful workbook includes games and Top Trump cards. The primary resource pack comes with a DVD featuring interviews with Hull City's French defender, Steven Mouyokolo and Yorkshire fast bowler Steven Patterson.

The secondary modules include a glossy colour booklet, with quiz competitions based around personal and player profiles. The Key Stage 3 workbook also contains exercises based on the DVD.

What's involved: 

• A class is split into two equal groups of 10-16
• Up to an hours theory
• Up to an hour practical
• KC Stadium educational visit and tour

What is learnt in the classroom is transferred in to the multi sports session.
