Are you a 16-17 year old looking for an adventure this summer?
We are offering 60 free places to young people from the Hull and East Riding area to take part in this programme. All involved will be away from home for two weeks. The first residential will be at an activity centre in North Yorkshire, offering opportunities for various activities such as caving, rock climbing, rafting, archery and kayaking - check it out at http://www.lowmill.com/about.html. The second residential is closer to home, based at the Lawns University Campus in Cottingham. Following the two residential weeks, the young people deliver 30 hours of community work in teams. The team aspect and the social action projects all provide essential skills and experience which would enhance any Curriculum Vitae. Throughout the project, the young people will be supported by experienced, CRB checked staff from the Tigers Trust.
