This summer the Tigers Sport and Education Trust is delivering the National Citizen Service for year 11 schools leavers!
Are you a school leaver and looking for an adventure this summer? The Tigers Trust are offering 60 free places to young people from the Hull and East Riding area to take part in this programme. All young people taking part in the NCS programme will have a great time participating in two weeks’ worth of residentials. The first residential will be at an activity centre in North Yorkshire where you will be taking part in various different activities such as caving, rafting, archery, kayaking, check it out at http://www.lowmill.com/about.html. The second residential is going to be slightly closer to home in Cottingham, where the participants will be staying at the university campus. The programme it total runs for three weeks full time including the two residential weeks, after which participants spend 30 hours delivering a social action project for the benefit of their local community…. This social action project will be designed and implemented with the support of the staff at the Tigers Trust!
